State v. Ms. K.J. (2021)

Practice Area: Criminal Law / DUI

Description: Phoenix Municipal Court, State v. Ms. K.J.: Ms. K.J. was involved in an accident resulting in property damage to a wall and another vehicle.  Ms. K.J. was found near the car after an accident and admitted to driving.  Ms. K.J. had a BAC of .204 along with THC in her system.  Castillo Law was able to convince the prosecutor to allow Ms. K.J. to plead to a reduced plea of DUI to the Slightest Degree and serve only 1 day. This resulted in less jail time, reduced fines, and reduced time with an ignition interlock.

Results depend upon factors unique to each case. Results in one case do not predict results in another case.
