Description: Maricopa County Superior Court: State v. Mr. J.V. (2025). Mr. J.V. was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault – Domestic Violence, one count Unlawful Imprisonment, one count Assault – Domestic Violence, one count Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Violence, and one count of Preventing Use Of Telephone In Emergency Or False Representation of Emergency – Domestic Violence. Mr. J.V. was facing potential prison or jail terms and retained Castillo Law to help with these charges. Through mitigation efforts and negotiation, the Castillo Law team was able to reduce these charges to one count of Aggravated Assault – Victim Bound/Restr, Undesignated and Domestic Violence Offense. Mr. J.V. was sentenced to three years of probation with no initial jail term.
