Description: Maricopa County Superior Court: State v. Mr. R.R. (CR2022-136496)  Mr. R.R. was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault, a Class 2 Dangerous Felony and one count of Failure to Stop at Scene of Damage Accident, a Class 1 Misdemeanor. Mr. R.R. was accused of failing to stop at the scene of a damage accident and then almost striking an officer who had begun to investigate the accident that R.R. had failed to stop for.  If convicted at trial, Mr. R.R. was facing mandatory prison time. After reviewing all of the police reports and body camera footage and submitting a deviation letter, the State agreed to allow R.R. to plead to an Endangerment, as an undesignated felony, with a DUI combination.  At sentencing, R.R. received probation, with one day of jail and credit for one day of jail.
