Description: Maricopa County Superior Court: State v. Mr. E.M. (2025). Mr. E.M. was charged with two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, a class 4 felony. Mr. E.M. was facing a minimum of four (4) months in prison. Mr. E.M. retained Castillo Law to help resolve this case. The attorneys at Castillo Law used investigation skills and Mr. E.M.’s extensive mitigation to negotiate a plea offer. Mr. E.M. ultimately pled to one count of Endangerment, a class 6 undesignated offense, giving him the opportunity to earn a misdemeanor and one count of Driving Under the Influence, a class 1 misdemeanor. Mr. E.M. was sentenced to two (2) years of supervised probation and a 15 day initial jail term and 15 day deferred jail term. Splitting up the jail time was for the purpose of allowing him the opportunity to maintain his stable employment.
