Outcome: Probation Reinstated and Terms Modified to Reside Out-of-State

Description: Maricopa County Superior Court, State v. Ms. A.

Ms. A. was reinstated to Unsupervised Probation for one year. The original probation terms imposed prevented Ms. A from residing outside the State of Arizona. Due to not having another place to live, Ms. A returned to her home state without permission. After the Court agreed to reinstate Probation, Castillo Law negotiated with the probation department to modify her probation terms to allow her to reside in Nevada. Ms. A’s assigned probation officer ultimately filed a Petition to Modify Terms or Regulations of Probation and the judge granted the modification.
