Outcome: Lifetime Probation Terminated

Description: Maricopa County Superior Court: State v. Mr. B. Y. Mr. B. Y. had been on lifetime probation since 2004. Mr. B. Y. had one revocation of probation which resulted in him serving 8 years in prison on one of his counts. Following this stint in prison, Mr. B. Y. worked hard to complete treatment.  Mr. B.Y. hired Castillo Law to assist with his Probation Termination.  Although the State did not agree with termination because he had not been out of treatment for a full two years and was required to go back to treatment one time before.  Nevertheless, the Court agreed with the defense and terminated Mr. B. Y.’s lifetime probation ruling that he had been rehabilitated.

Results depend upon factors unique to each case. Results in one case do not predict results in another case.
