State v. Mr. R.B. (2021)

Description: Mr. R.B. retained Castillo Law when he was stopped going the wrong way on a one way street in old town Flagstaff. R.B. was under 21 at the time. R.B. was arrested and charged with DUI to the slightest degree, DUI Drugs, Person Under 21 in Operation of Motor Vehicle, Person Under 21 with Alcohol in Their System, and Wrong Way on a One Way Street.  While Castillo Law was conducting its investigation, it was discovered that the arresting officer had some discrepancies with her DUI training. When these issues were further investigated, Castillo Law discovered important information about the Officer’s law enforcement past. These discoveries were presented to the State who then agreed to reduce the charge to Reckless Driving and dismiss all remaining charges.
