Description: Maricopa County Superior Court, State v. Mr. M.

Mr. M used an artifice to remove merchandise from Fry’s Electronics without paying the purchase price. Castillo Law obtained a supervised probation plea to an undesignated class six felony, which allows for the possibility of earning a misdemeanor upon the successful completion of probation. At Sentencing, Mr. M. faced a possibility of receiving up to three (3) years of supervised probation and up to one (1) year of jail time. Castillo Law argued for a sentence of eighteen (18) months of supervised probation with no jail time, which the judge imposed.
