SL v. MZ

Practice Area: Criminal Law / Order of Harassment

Date: April 5, 2019

Outcome: Petition Against Harassment dismissed

Description: MZ and SL were neighbors.  SL believed that MZ was harassing her by posting false information about her in the neighborhood, sending false information to the Homeowners’ Association, and yelling derogatory religious slurs.  Ms. Castillo was hired to defend after the Petitioner had put on a large part of her case. Ms. Castillo was able to get up to speed on the case and present MZ’s side of the story and convince the Judge that the Petitioner had not carried her burden.  The judge agreed and dismissed the Petition Against Harassment.
