Outcome: REDUCED to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class 6 undesignated offense

Description: Maricopa County, State v. Ms. N. Ms. N. was a passenger in a car stopped for a traffic infraction.  Ms. N. consented to a search that later yielded drug paraphernalia. Ms. N. was currently on probation at the time of the offense for a felony offense.  

After a settlement conference and production of mitigation to the prosecutor, Ms. Castillo was able to negotiate a plea to an undesignated offense and convince the judge to only 1 year of supervised probation.
