Description: Avondale City Court, State v. Ms. M.  Ms. M. was charged with one count of Assault, a Class 1 Misdemeanor, and one count of Criminal Damage, a Class 2 Misdemeanor – both domestic violence offenses.  Misdemeanors. Ms. M. was accused of assaulting her boyfriend and damaging household items during an argument. Ms. M. maintained that she acted in self-defense. After a thorough investigation, the State ultimately dismissed the charges due to unlikelihood of prosecution.
