Description: Maricopa County, State v. JB.  JB was accused of pointing a gun at a suspicious person on his street.  The suspicious person called the police and JB was charged with one Count of Aggravated Assault, a Class 3 Dangerous Felony. If convicted at trial JB was facing mandatory prison time. After an investigation and a deviation letter that was sent to the State, JB was offered a felony pretrial diversion program in which allowed him to go to classes and his charges were later dismissed.
