Description: Mesa Municipal Court: BC was alleged to have committed Shoplifting after being apprehended at a Walmart with her children. Mr. Cronin argued that, due to the negligence of the Loss Prevention Officer and the fact that no crime was visually witnessed, it was difficult if not impossible to prove BC’s guilt. Upon written request to the State for a better plea offer, Mr. Cronin secured a Diversion plea offer, which means BC’s case was dismissed after she completed a Shoplifting Class.
