Date: September 15, 2015

Outcome: Case Dismissed

Description: Description: State v. A. (CR2013-456408) Unlawful Flight/Reckless Driving: Mesa Officer alleges he attempted to stop CK at a roundabout and CK fled from him. CK was apprehended several days later. State was requesting 2.5 years in prison because CK had priors. After CK hired Castillo Law, Castillo Law requested CAD report which had previously not been disclosed. CAD reported indicated officer never called stop in as an unlawful flight but rather as a civil failure to stop. Officer failed to follow his own operation orders. The State then agreed to offer CK probation with jail.
