Description: Drug Possession

Dismissal — State v. Ms. F (Maricopa County Superior Court CR2009170632):  Officers received information from Federal Express of a large sum of money being delivered to Ms. F.’s rental address.  Ms. F. resided at the rental address with her boyfriend.  Officers served a warrant on Ms. F.’s rental address and found multiple items consistent with the sale of drugs; and possession of paraphernalia and marijuana.  Officers questioned Ms. F. who was pregnant at the time and took her to another location attempting to get her to admit that her boyfriend was involved in selling drugs.  Ms. F. remained steadfast in her innocence even when offered a TASC program to dismiss her charges.  After Ms. Castillo found several inconsistencies in the Officer’s investigation including that the fedex slip had been altered, the State agreed to dismiss the charges against Ms. F.
