Description: Below .15 BAC
Description: Not Guilty / Complete Acquittal / DUI Arizona – State v. Ms. T. (Phoenix Municipal Court Case No. M-0741-3570190). Ms. T. was coming home from a friend’s house and needed to stop at a gas station. Ms. T. got off the free way and turned the wrong way on a one way street. Officers pulled her over and noticed signs and symptoms of alcohol ingestion. Ms. T. then participated in field sobriety tests and was transported for a blood draw. The court suppressed the blood results and the case proceeded to trial. Ms. Castillo successfully argued to the jury that the poor driving observations and failed sobriety tests were not sufficient to sustain a verdict of guilty and Ms. T. was acquitted on all charges.
