Description: Scottsdale City Court: JA was stopped for allegedly running a red light while making a u-turn and failing to maintain a lane while driving in Scottsdale. JA performed poorly on field tests and was arrested. JA submitted to a blood test which resulted in a BAC of .108. Mr. Goebel found that there was an illegal search and an improper blood draw by the state’s phlebotomist at the time of JA’s incident. Mr. Goebel was able to secure a reduced plea to reckless driving with no jail and a substantially reduced fine.
