Description: Surprise City Court, State v. Ms. C. Ms. C. was charged with one count of Shoplifting – Removal of Goods, one count of Shoplifting – Switching Price Tag, and one count of Shoplifting – Concealment; all Class 1 misdemeanors. Ms. C. was alleged to have committed Shoplifting by concealing items in a diaper bag, switching price tags on items, and leaving a retail store without paying for items. Castillo Law attorneys secured a misdemeanor compromise with the victim which resulted in a dismissal of all charges.  This prevented Ms. C. from having a shoplifting conviction on her record.
