Description: Gilbert (2015-CT-0000104): Pled Guilty to Reckless Driving.
JC charged with Drug DUI with marijuana card after stopped for speeding. Low levels of THC was found in system. After negotiations proved unsuccessful, case was set to trial. Eventually the State offered a reckless driving. A reckless in this case allows for JC to keep license, and not have the severe consequences of the statutory fines and fees associated with a DUI in addition to the collateral consequences of a DUI.
