Description: Maricopa County, Mr. Z and his co-defendants were accused of assault and kidnapping a man and leaving him in the desert. If convicted at trial Mr. Z was facing potential prison time. After an investigation and a deviation letter was sent to the State by Castillo Law attorneys, Mr. Z was offered a plea Agreement to a single count with a stipulation to probation. Mr. Z was granted probation with no additional up front jail (the Court ordered a deferred jail sentence which will be eliminated if Mr. Z is compliant on probation).
