State v. NC (2010)

Practice Area: Criminal Law / Theft Crimes / Fraudulent Schemes and Theft

Date: November 15, 2010

Outcome: Probation

Description: Maricopa County Superior Court (CR2010-005364): NC was charged with one count of Fraudulent Schemes and one count of Theft after the State alleged NC took money from her employer over a number of years. Through negotiations prior to the case being filed, and after, NC was offered a probation. At sentencing, NC received no jail time. NC was exposed to prison time after trial given that NC had a prior felony conviction, was on probation, and because the State alleged that the offenses occurred on multiple dates.

Results depend upon factors unique to each case. Results in one case do not predict results in another case.
